Problem: Military bases are located in remote areas, which are not connected to water grid. Local water was contaminated with high turbidity, iron, and manganese. Raw water also contains high level of bacterial contamination. Local soldiers stationed at different bases had no safe water source. Transportation of clear drinking water to bases was a logistics problem, and an expensive solution.

Solution: Provision of skid mounted and trailer mounted drinking water systems suitable for remote areas and harsh site conditions. Atlanta Pure Water supplied a compact, skid and trailer mounted Drinking Water Treatment Systems which includes the following elements:
